Stayed in the Seahouse suites in october 2021. In the bathroom the toilet brush holder was missing its handle. The heated towel rail was not functioning, which prevented towels from drying out and created problems with dampness and damp smell. In the bedroom the lamp was smashed and the bulb not functioning in the main light. Additionally, one of the lights above the bed was broken and dangling from it`s wire. The breakfast`s quality is poor ... The location is the only benefit.

Polite staff great location near to the centre and main attractions. The reception helped us during our stay.. There is a mini market and restaurant beside the hotel for your daily staff would definitely recommend and come back again.

At times you have to wonder about the starting point of some reviewers. We booked here based on reviews and photographs, location looked to be ideal etc. Remember "a fool and his money are soon parted"? For once this fool retained his hard earned cash. This hotel has the dirtiest public areas we've EVER seen even in Asia. As well, though it doesn't say so in the advert, the hotel isn't all in one place. The "suites" are a 5 minute walk through a very run down area. The steps up to the advertised but non-existent 24 hour reception are held together with tape. The stairs to the rooms have two large squares cut from the carpet and are dangerous. There are no hotel signs to assist, our taxi driver had to ask to find the main site. The "suites" facing the Bosporous are certainly not 4 star, in fact if this is 4 star the scale has been extended from 1 to 20. The furniture and fittings are poor. After indicating we were not happy, we were offered rooms in the main hotel, no views and well away from the sea. We looked at them and the bathrooms were not clean either. I advised we were leaving. After travelling 30 hours from Australia and with no Plan B it indicates our dissatisfaction. The Manager, so far not seen, rang to tell me he'd charge full price as soon as I walked out the door. I replied with threats of credit card fraud, police, Visa etc. A number of calls with the receptionist as go between led to a one sided (his) shouting match. The cleaner and receptionist were sacked on the spot I was told, please pay! We have nowhere to go! We left. I rang the next day and the receptionist answered the phone. What a welcome to Turkey. Judging by a review of some complaints, the manager will reply with it was all the guest's fault, this time he can't, we left. Stay here if you wish but " a fool and his money......." PS Basil and Manuel would have fitted in beautifully.

There couldn't be a better one that has wonderful view in a central location! The view covers almost entire marmara sea. So me and my wife spent a great time in ottomania and can't wait to visit it once again. Highly recommend this place!!
